Today we went to Asakusa and Odaiba for sightseeing and shopping. Not much to tell here except for the fact, that it was really crowded. We learned that they have holidays for one week now, later that day.

Japan 2010 – Day 4
Mar 27th
Well, I wrote before that I had to rush to meet a friend on my first evening in Japan to get some Tickets right?! Wondered what they were meant for? Here is the Answer! They were for the incredible cool and most awaited “Tokyo Drift in Odaiba Gran Turismo D1 Grand Prix” which is held every year as Round1 Event of the D1 Grand Prix (the world’s finest Drift Series). This Year we have the 10th Anniversary since Drift King (Dorikin how he is called here) Keiichi Tsuchiya founded this contest and in which he remains as a judge now after his retirement (did you know the fisher in the Movie Tokyo Drift is actually the real King of Drift himself?).
Okay so nearly 700 pictures await you containing, hot cars, lotta action, many dogfights, side shows, artists and cute girls! Don’t miss them as you won’t get them anywhere else!
I also met Sleepy, who is Manager of Team Orange and was able to have a nice long talk with him in the pits. Oh my God… 60000 Euro of tuning on top of the costs for the car itself + 400 Euro per Tire they use while drifting! Sleepy also arranged a Photoshoot with Kumakubo, who is the Leader of Team Orange and the owner of the Ebisu Circuits in Japan.
Just see for yourself! There are two pages with pictures, don’t miss any of them… just click on “next page” once you have seen all pictures. More >
Japan 2010 – Day 3
Mar 26th
So my first evening in Japan was really hectic, as I arrived in Tokyo at about 18:00 o’clock and had to check in at my hotel, take a bath and rush to Shibuya to meet a friend who had some tickets for me (you will see soon what for). After that I went to a standing bar called Tasuichi. It’s a great place for a few beers and some snacks.
On my first real day in Japan t rained the whole day… really bad rain, so I wasn’t able to make any good pictures. But we had a “Lets make Sushi and Takoyaki Party!” at my Hotel in the evening which was so much fun”. I will post photos of that later.
But let’s see what I did today! It was the first day with great weather (until 17:00 at least) and I visited everything possible I always wanted to. In short: Ueno, Tokyo, Marunouchi, Ginza, Shiodome and many many more! See the Imperial Palace, the Tokyo Tower, modern Japan, Nissans plans for the future without pollution, cute girls and so much more in my pictures here.
